    exceptional service
    stunning views
    navigation challenge
    narrow pathways

This wasn’t what I expected – Good or Bad?

From the warm hospitality to the breathtaking architecture, every moment felt regal. The meals were delicious and the rooftop views over the medina at sunset created unforgettable memories.

Navigating to the riad can be challenging, with narrow pathways that may leave some feeling unsettled.

    breathtaking atmosphere
    confusing payment process

The breathtaking atmosphere made us feel as if we were staying

in a historic palace. The communal dinners fostered great conversations, and the rooftop view at sunset was truly unforgettable. However, the strong preference for cash payment at checkout created some confusion during our departure.

    stunning tile
    authentic ambiance
    breathtaking view
    dimly lit paths

Staying at Dar Seffarine felt like a journey back in time. The palace’s tile work and ornamental details are stunning, creating an authentic ambiance. I particularly loved the communal dinners. it’s a great way to meet fellow travelers. The rooftop terrace offers a breathtaking view over Fés, especially during sunset, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The room exceeded my expectations in size and comfort, with a cozy sitting area and a well-functioning bathroom. The owners, Zuir and Youssef, are incredibly warm and engaging, delivering personalized tips that enhance the experience. However, access to the riad involves navigating narrow, dimly lit paths, which might feel unsettling to some. This stay exceeded my hopes for authenticity, yet there are minor areas that could enhance comfort and accessibility.

    inviting atmosphere
    charming location
    personal touch
    narrow pathways

Our family had a fantastic stay, exploring the vibrant tanneries and the lively local souks. The owners made our visit feel like home, even inviting us to join them for dinners in the garden, which created a lovely family atmosphere.

My wife says that navigating the narrow pathways can be tricky, especially with children.

I just loved how the breakfast was beautifully prepared every morning, and the desserts were to die for! One small issue was the occasional sewage odor in the room, but overall, I'd definitely come back.

    peaceful riad
    communal dinners
    fewer amenities

Staying at this lovely riad was a dream for our family. The peaceful atmosphere helped us unwind after exploring the vibrant medina and sights like the famous tanneries. We adored the nightly communal dinners. the food was so good we never felt the need to eat out.

My children wanted more amenities for a comfortable stay.

    stunning suite
    delightful breakfast
    convenient location

dar seffarine was truly remarkable! the grandeur of the josephine suite was breathtaking, with stunning tile work and carved cedarwood doors. breakfast was delightful, especially yousef's shaksuka and the honey doughnuts. the location is perfect, just a short stroll from the medina, making it super convenient to explore.

slightly disappointing service at breakfast, though.
